When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. General browsing of our website is not stored or tracked.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. tweets, videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. We store and export this information to use for BSides-only Purposes. We don’t share attendee information with sponsors, under any circumstances.

We Use:

EventBrite – Event management – this is where ticket holder information is stored. We use the data here to count how many ticket sales we’ve made, collect the income from the sales and organise shirt sizes. We also use the shirt cut shapes to report on the demographics attending the conference.
